Our swim team, The Fairfield Turtles, is more than just a group of competitive swimmers—it’s a close-knit community of supportive families who share a passion for swimming. The team is known for its welcoming and inclusive atmosphere, where swimmers of all skill levels, from beginners to experienced swimmers, are encouraged to reach their full potential and have fun in the process!

Parents play a vital role in our team’s success, creating a friendly and encouraging environment. Whether they’re volunteering at meets, organizing team events, or simply cheering from the sidelines, our parents are always engaged and supportive. They’re quick to offer a warm greeting to new families, ensuring everyone feels part of the team from day one.

Our coaches are not only dedicated to improving your swimmers’ performance, but also to fostering a positive and fun experience. The camaraderie among the swimmers is strong, with older team members mentoring, encouraging, and cheering on the younger ones.

Regular social events, including potlucks, pool parties, and team dinners, help strengthen the bonds between families and swimmers, making the team feel more like an extended family. This spirit of friendly, supportive parents and team environment makes our swim team a cherished part of the Newark community.
